COLLABORATIONS WITH LITERARY PRIZES
PREMIO PROCIDA – ISOLA DI ARTURO – ELSA MORANTE
The Italian literary prize, now in its 35th edition, is dedicated to the writer Elsa Morante, who set her novel L’isola di Arturo on the island of Procida. The prize is given annually to Italian literary works published in the current year. The prize, which has received the high patronage of the President of the Republic and the Campania Region, is currently divided into two sections: Narrative and Com’è profondo il mare (including the best works about the sea). The writer Dacia Maraini will chair the event.
PREMIO NAPOLI
The Premio Napoli is an award for Italian culture and language, organised by the Fondazione Napoli. The prize was established in 1954 and it is awarded annually. The Fondazione is located at the Palazzo Reale of Naples. The Premio Napoli 2022 is divided into three sections: Italian fiction, Italian poetry, Italian non-fiction.
COLLABORATIONS WITH CULTURAL INSTITUTES
The Campania Libri Festival has partnered with some of the most important foreign cultural institutes. During the Festival, the Goethe-Institut of Naples, the Instituto Cervantes of Naples and the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid will hold presentations of books written by German and Spanish authors.
MULTIPLI FORTI
The initiative Multipli Forti – Voices from contemporary Italian fiction will come to Naples from New York for a partnership with the Campania Libri Festival. The initiative is directed by Maria Ida Gaeta, promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, and organised in collaboration with Fuis. Multipli Forti will present in Naples the book, edited by Minimum Fax, collecting the original contributions of all the authors who will join the event.
On the 1st of October, the director of the Italian Cultural Institute in New York, Fabio Finotti, and the curator of the event, Maria Ida Gaeta, will speak at the Festival.
OTHER COLLABORATIONS
FUIS (Federazione Unitaria Italiana Scrittori) is the organisation representing Italian writers, and that protects their interests and copyright.
CUR Patronage (Comitato Interuniversitario Regionale)
The Regional Coordination Committee of Campania’s Universities (CUR) consists of seven Rectors from the Campania Universities, of the President of the regional Council and the student representatives. The CUR coordinates and plans functions for the development of the regional university system.
